Hey Experimentalists! βHere's some great news to start the week: Ramble is now available on mobile. π βAdd tasks with your voice by speaking freely. Ramble listens, transcribes, and captures actionable tasks in real-time, whether your thoughts are organized or not. βHereβs Michael to show you how it all works: β |
| βStart by updating your mobile app to the latest version. Make sure you allow access to the microphone (if previously denied, head to System Settings β Apps β Todoist, more help here). Hit the Quick Add button then the waveform icon. βSpeak naturally and Todoist captures tasks as you go: βSet descriptions, priorities, dates, deadlines, and durations just by mentioning them. Edit live by saying "scratch that" or "change bananas to apples". Finish with "that's it" when you're done.
βCurrent limitations: Ramble doesn't yet support adding a task to a specific project, or adding labels and reminders. We're exploring how to add these while keeping the experience seamless. βiOS limitation: Ramble can resume after most interruptions, but not after connection errors (like going offline). For now, if you lose connection, you'll need to add your captured tasks or restart Ramble. Fix coming soon. βFind more tips in the help article! |
| βRamble is rolling out for testing on iOS from v25.8.31 and Android from v11870. This is limited to Experimentalists on paid plans. βIf you run into issues or have feedback, share via this feedback form for Ramble. Weβre eager to hear what you think as we continue to improve. βWhatβs next? Improving the feature so itβs working really well across all platforms, adding Ramble widgets, exploring support for more task attributes, and getting it out for all to use! βSo, ready to ramble? π£ |
